Training Videos
Car seats do for children what seat belts do for adults.
STRAP POSITIONING
The strap position depends on the age of the child. Watch the video for more information.
INSTALLING THE CAR SEAT
It is important that the straps be in the correct position as described above and that the car seat, when installed, move less than 1 inch side to side, front to back, at the belt path.
Rear-Facing Car Seats
Rear facing car seats can be installed using LATCH or the seat belt. Try both ways and see which you like more.
- Base (0:12)
- Single and Double Newborn Insert (0:41)
- Rear-Facing – SuperLATCH(1:30) OR
- Rear-Facing – Seat Belt (0:51)
- Seat belt installations are easier, BUT if a customer shakes the top of the car seat, the seat belt may come un-locked and you will need to re-install.
