1966 Enicar Sherpa Super Dive 40mm Watch - Super Compressor - Check It Out!

Up for sale is a vintage Enicar Sherpa Super Dive Super Compressor watch, circa 1966. Featured is a black dial, a gray internal rotating bezel, applied multi angle indices, stick hands, and a date window with beveled edges. A tall domed crystal is used to protect the dial and provide a nice light distortion effect at hard angles along its edge. Watch features a compressor design which means when originally built the deeper the watch would go the tighter the casing would seal. Inside the watch is an automatic movement with 45 hours of power reserve. Watch is built to 40mm giving it a more modern sizing. Watch is in good condition for age, though there are signs of use including scratches and desk diver marks. Crystal is has only minor scratch marks and is easy to see though. The textile strap is newish and is free from fraying or run through. Please see photos for visual condition of watch and strap. Watch is in running condition though runs approx 30sec/day slow.
