For sale is a gently pre-owned Panerai Luminor Marina 177 (PAM177). This is the highly sought after manual wind, titanium case, black dial, sandwich dial model. These are getting more and more difficult to obtain.
I purchased this watch on ebay several months ago and have come to the conclusion that it is a little large for me. At the time, it came with a Panerai wood box (not original to this piece) and two after market straps/buckle. Basically, only the watch was genuine. Since, I have fitted the watch with an authentic Panerai rubber strap and Panerai titanium buckle. So, the strap and buckle are in excellent, near new condition.
The watch case is in very good condition (see photos). There is a small scratch on the sapphire crystal near the "A" in Marina. It came to me this way. It is challenging to see, but some of the photos reflect it. Note, I have taken very good care of the watch since receiving it. As far as time keeping goes, it is about -30 seconds slow per day. Not a huge deal with a manual wind, but worth noting it is not within COSC standards. I am unsure of the service history of this piece, but it will mostly likely need a service in the near future. As such, the price has been adjusted accordingly.
Overall, this is a very good example of the PAM 177 with a few minor issues (no triple boxes, scratch on sapphire). The price has been adjusted to account for this. The watch is 100% authentic and all ebay authenticity paperwork will be included.
The watch comes with non-original Panerai box, undated Panerai card and screwdriver, two aftermarket straps, ebay authenticity documentation, and boutique paperwork from original titanium buckle.
