This infinity scarf has been sewn from a vintage pure silk sari to make a lovely, simple to wear accessory: just wrap it twice or three times around your neck, or fold in half & slip one end through the other - a versatile accessory of generous proportions. The natural, breathable silk means it will keep you warm in the winter but won't be too hot for the summer. The scarf is made from a double layer of fabric which is sewn into a loop with all seams inside. This scarf is available in two styles; a straight rectangle or an infinity or loop scarf where the ends are sewn together to make a loop, just make your selection when you checkout.This scarf has been created from a stunning vintage pure pale pink silk with beige brocade and the decorative edge panel running the entire length. It also features the floral brocade edge panel which runs the entire length of the scarf. All scarves are individually sewn by me in Westcliff, England.This is a unique piece and makes a perfect present or gift for yourself.The size is approx. 228 cm circumference x 25 cm, approx. 90" x 10".This is a vintage fabric and therefore may have slight imperfections such as small marks, holes or pulls in the fabric although I do my best to ensure that each piece is as close to perfect as possible.I endeavour to convey the colours in the fabric as accurately as possible, however there may be slight discrepancies between different monitors and screens. Please note the pattern placement may vary slightly but it is made from the same sari.Washing and care: All the saris are pre-washed and ironed by me prior to sewing. Hand-wash gently with a mild detergent and line dry, before a careful warm iron.
